William “Scot\"bio<\/a>t” Morrison has been chasing the get-rich-quick American Dream for many decades while writing stories and songs on the side. Now in his late youth, he is channeling a lifelong interest in politics and history into telling the story of the times through historical fiction. Luck of the Draw<\/em>, his second novel, follows the lives of the same characters who in his first novel, The Energy Caper, or Nixon in the Sky with Diamonds<\/em>, thrive in a luckier world where there was no Vietnam war. He lives quietly with his wife in the wine country of California.<\/p>\n
