closer to the truth<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I\u2019m gonna find some answers<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Before I sell out to you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He said Well boy then lemme bet ya\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I get your soul if you don\u2019t win<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But if I lose you get everything you want<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And I\u2019ll overlook all o\u2019 your sins<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It&#8217;s just a friendly little wager<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But the truth you must deduce<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is it Krishna, Marx, Mohammed,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Buddha, Jesus Christ, or Zeus?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I said You got a deal Mr. Devil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Shook his hand and tried to think<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then I said Let&#8217;s head on into town<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u2019m gonna\u2019 buy you a drink<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u2019m gonna\u2019 answer by example<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2018Cause in my own personal view<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The only thing makes any sense<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is the good old Golden Rule.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yeah, it&#8217;s those dogmatised opinions<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Draggin\u2019 down Humankind<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Keepin\u2019 people in their places<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Stickin\u2019 dogma in their lives<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Like in the Middle East and Ireland<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They all got God on their side<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And they justify their killin\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They say God says it&#8217;s all right.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Devil said That ain\u2019t no answer boy<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And he pointed down the well<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then he said I&#8217;ll cast your ass down there<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you try to renege on our deal<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I\u2019ll get your soul and you&#8217;ll get nothin\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So your stallin\u2019 ain\u2019t no use<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You gottat tell me, Is it Krishna, Marx, Mohammed,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Buddha, Jesus Christ, or Zeus?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I said Now just a minute Mr. Devil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">No single answer\u2019s right<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I mean what kind o\u2019 God needs adulation<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To help Him sleep at night<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">God\u2019s gotta be more than fair<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And there\u2019s no limit to God\u2019s love<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So the answer Mr. Devil<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Must be all, or none, of Thee above.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yeah it ain&#8217;t some dogmatised opinion<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gonna\u2019 get us any higher<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And it ain\u2019t no fancy ritual<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Gonna\u2019 save us from no fire<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And it ain\u2019t some two-faced TV preacher<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Who swears he\u2019s so damned right<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Sayin\u2019 God forgives the sinner<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So capital punishment is quite all right<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I say the Lord doesn\u2019t make distinctions<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Between the Christians and the Jews,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Moslems, commies, Moonies,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Buddhists, or Hindus<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We\u2019re all in this together<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We all got the Golden Rule<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To do unto others<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">As you\u2019d have \u2019em do to you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yeah seems every dogmatised opinion<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Says the others are made o&#8217; lies<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They all got different notions<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2019Bout what it&#8217;s like in paradise<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They say the only way to get there<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Is to follow their advice<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Or their god he will destroy you<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you don\u2019t agree they&#8217;re right.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I say we\u2019re all in this together<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We all lose or we all win<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And as sure as we\u2019re here today<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We\u2019re gonna\u2019 be born again<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We\u2019re all in this together<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We all got the Golden Rule<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To make the world a better place<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To be born back into.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Well the Devil scowled and stomped his hoof<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And sealed up the wishin&#8217;
