Castalia Site History 1997 – 2016

We’re redoing the Castalia site completely. The last time it was redone was in 2002, with only minor updates when we introduced new products. For those interested in the evolution of a website over the decades, the archive.org version 1997www.castaliapub.com went up in 1997.
It looks ancient now, and the quality of the images is embarrassing. Soon the current site will only be available at archive.org. Their most recent copy of the site is April 17, 2016 here: 2016www.castaliapub.com
This post is just for the historical record for those interested in such things. The world has changed a lot since 1978, when a get-rich-quick inspiration came to a novice guitar player, and posters ain’t what they used to be. It was a revolutionary concept, and in all that time nobody has topped The Guitar Poster for the wealth of information it presents, nor has anyone succeeded in presenting music theory with the thoroughness and accessibility of our cross-reference system, from Do Re Mi to the Mixolydian Mode. Decorative, functional, and educational, there is nothing quite like these great posters.
